Is it just me or does Mario Kart 7 kind of suck? I'm not having any fun with it. Even though it had its share of problems, the Wii title is much more enjoyable than this.

I disagree so thoroughly with this.

It's not my favourite in the series (Mario Kart DS is best) but it's up there. The Wii one is dire though, just unending clusterfuck of overpowered weaponry. Easily the worst entry in the series in my opinion.

Man, I thought it was just me, but I have Mario Kart Wii and the fucking weapons just pissed me off. I think it may have spoiled the series for me. I can't remember if the weapons in Mario Kart were always that bad or not.

Personally I loved Mario Kart Wii. My wife and I put a ton of hours into that game playing co-op GPs against the CPU.

Of course, our favorite part was shouting intentionally-humorous obscenities at the screen when the CPU blue-shelled us (or our AI teammates were in last place) so.... yeah...

I don't have MK 7 for 3DS yet but MK 8 will be a pre-order at my house.

I'd probably part with my Blue XL, but it's the Mario Kart bundle, or better, a non vanilla bundle. I don't know if I can let her go. The box art is pretty nice.

Would do it if I had a little money to throw around. Things are kind of tight at the moment and my generic red one works just fine. That edition is just such a cool looking system though, I might end up with one.

Honestly, I don't think I'm going to go for any of the themed XL models.

I'd rather spend the money on more 3DS games - Mario Kart, Rune Factory 4, Zelda, etc.

Not to mention a few Wii U titles...
