A decent sized update this month. Pikmin 3 was a gift for starting my new job, Pokémon was a launch day purchase, and Ace Attorney a launch day download.

The last 3 games were cheap pick-ups at the shop. Chuffed to add a few decent PSP games to my collection at a good price.

Next month I'll be picking up Parappa the Rapper for Together Retro, and maybe I'll treat myself with my first pay of my new job too.

Not a big fan of Intellivision casino games? (why the hell are there so many?!)

Royal Dealer is pretty sweet. Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack is also fun. I play them on Intellivision Lives! on the GC.

I'm just being silly. Ms Pacman, Q-bert, and World Series Baseball II are great too and honestly I've got basically no clue on the others.

Yeah I've been on a big 2nd gen kick lately. I'm most excited to get those VIC-20 games (top), they are tough to find.

And yeah, Microcosm rules. Psygnosis ftw.

It blows my mind that Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack was the pack-in game for the system. Is that really what people wanted to play as soon as they bought a new console?

One could argue that playing one of those Intellivision compilations is vastly superior to playing the real thing. You don't have to deal with the ridiculous controllers, for example.

Yup. Only problem is some games require 2 controllers to play in 1 player mode simply because the keypad layouts are too complex for 1 controller to handle (case in point, Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack requires it!)
