That's neat. I'm interested in old computers. I look forward to hearing about it.BoneSnapDeez wrote:S'all good.
I had $100 set aside for this beast - but I ended up getting a VIC-20 plus games instead.![]()
So yeah, I'll end up waiting for reviews.

Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
I looked the systems spec post on Hyperkin over and over. I was almost sold on this when I first heard about it. I preordered a while ago and I am dying for Dec 10 to get here. I am curious to see how the games look over HDMI. 99 bucks to combine all these systems is completely worth it in my opinion.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

I hope a user on there that has a SNES flash cart ends up buying one of these things because I'm dying to know if they work together. If I could buy this system and a couple flash carts....forget about it. I'd snatch this up fast.
Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
So I went back to Newegg, and I see that only *1* color of the Retron 5 is out of stock (black). The gray color is still accepting pre-orders, so I put mine in today! Can't. Freaking. Wait. The only other console I got at launch was the SNES, so this is pretty exciting.

Despite my skepticism, I am still interested in this device. I look forward to hearing what all you early adopters think about Hyperkin's new toy.
I, on the other hand, will not be pre-ordering. Let me know how well this thing works on December 10th.

Oh we will.
Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
Yup! I'm liking the fact that you can use any controller for any console, so you can use the SNES pad for any of the games. That's great.Purkeynator wrote:Oh we will.

I bought an Everdrive N8 and a Genesis flash cart. I will be trying these the day the system hits my doorstep and I will let you know how it goes.Frag Mortuus wrote:I hope a user on there that has a SNES flash cart ends up buying one of these things because I'm dying to know if they work together. Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
I plan on getting the Retron 5 as well. I don't care if it looks like a wacky chimera of a console, since I currently don't have a working NES, Famicom, or Superfamicom anyway. Playing my GBA games on TV will be awesome as well! I'll be getting it as soon as it comes out, and I will give my review as well. These sorts of hybrid consoles always make me a little skeptical at first.
