So what have you guys been watching lately?

Dignity and moral standards.

If that was an issue for him, then why would he even be considering watching it? I didn't get that from his post.

And even if Ross does make a mistake, he turns the tables and makes a mistake a "happy accident" (which is what my parents call me) which turns out brilliant .

Good is putting it mildly. Game of Thrones is probably one of the top 5, maybe even top 3 best shows on TV at the moment. In fact, I probably would have put it second after Breaking Bad for best show, but Breaking Bad just had its series finale. And I see Game of Thrones referenced so much in our pop culture these days that I almost feel like it's mandatory viewing at this point. Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead get a ton of viewers it seems.

On another note, I recently finished season 1 of Sons of Anarchy and started season 2. I'm quite liking this show. It's actually managed to pull me away from Orange is the New Black as my go to when I have Netflix on now.

Walking Dead has had a strong season so far with these first three episodes I hope it maintains its momentum. The new show runner seems to know what he's doing. My god the raining zombies sequence from the premiere was badass and seeing a zombie horde of just under a thousand zombies last episode was just epic!

I'm about 2 episodes behind on Homeland, but the first 3 episodes have been a bit slow paced and uneventful. I don't know what to make of the show at this point.

And as far as network TV goes, I'm thoroughly enjoying Arrow and the stuff they're bringing in from the DC Universe. We have an actual Black Canary now, and they have even brought Raj Alghul and the League of Shadows into the show's mythology. Between that and Huntress, I feel like the show is leaving a door wide open for Batman if they are ever given the go ahead by WB to use him.

Once Upon a Time has also been really good with a nice, dark twist on Neverland this season. I really enjoy seeing this show's evil version of Peter Pan, who seems to be the whole season's main villain. Way to take a classic fairy tale and turn it on its head. The Wonderland spinoff has been fun too. They are throwing some serious money at that show because the white rabbit looks good, and they've been showing some other impressive CGI creatures on the show as well.

Marvel Agents of Shield hasn't knocked my socks off yet, but it's still fun and it's got Joss Whedon on the creative team so I expect great things to come

Orange is the new black
Awesome show. Fun. Entertaining.

Game of Thrones
I hate fantasy. No interest in lord of the rings, harry potter, or most things similar. But I borrowed the blurays of season 2, and this show is great. I equate the fantasy to that of star wars. In fact it's very similar. You have a group of people who still believe in mythical things, must most just regard them as fairy tales. So as someone who typically wouldn't like this type of show, I can 100% recommend it. In fact I think it's more likely that people who do like ogres and orcs and whatever else, actually have a greater chance of disliking this show.

Walking dead
This season has been pretty good. Unfortunately, they took the stupid tyrese from last season, turned him into biggest pussy on the show tyrese for the first couple episodes, and have now turned him into biggest moron on the show tyrese. Argh.

Homeland
The absence of Brody has become noticeable. We got a one episode tease with him, but it's starting to feel like they simply had no idea what to do with him this season. If they pull off some incredible merging of story lines, I will take this back, but so far it feels like he has so little story that a merging of story lines would be too easy to be incredible. However, the stuff on U.S. soil has become interesting over the last couple episodes. Except it doesn't feel like homeland anymore. It almost feels like a spin-off with a new set of villains.

Wow, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finally kicked it up a notch tonight, best episode by far. Very emotional and a nice epic, cinematic scene to boot.

I also watched last week's Supernatural, and it was one of the best episodes this season, if not the whole series. We got another Felicia Day appearance. We got MAJOR Game of Thrones fan service. We got Dorothy, flying monkeys and the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz. We got a cool flashback, some great comedy, and we even got some references to stuff from a few seasons ago. AND we got AD/DC's "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)"

Good stuff

^ good to hear about SHEILD. Need to get that in the queue.

Watched another episode of The Americans last night. Such an amazing show, it's of course fictionalized, but man it feels so believable. If you love spy vs. counter-spy stuff, you need to watch this show!

This is probably old news to some of you, but ...ummmm...this is awesome.

I had no plans to cancel my Netflix streaming subscription, but I will defintiely be keeping it indefinitely if Netflix will be making things like this.

Netflix is becoming a serious contender now with original programming rivaling AMC, HBO, and Showtime. I've been thoroughly enjoying Orange is the New Black. And being able to also catch up on other great shows from other networks like Sons of Anarchy makes Netflix really worth having
