Should I sell my PDS copy to buy XBOX 360 JPN???

I stopped right there initially. It's a waste of your shelf space as it is. Sell it, buy a Japanese Xbox 360, enjoy the shit out of Raiden Fighter Aces. Unless you have the edition with the Superplay DVD, then you will sell it to me and keep PDS.

i said no, simply because, if you wait another 10 years. It will be worth even more than it is now, and then you could get something you want even more.

As more people get PCs that can handle Sega Saturn emulation and emu scenes mature on both the PC and consoles, this game could possibly be worth much less than you think. Sega has been whoring their franchises for over a decade, so they could release this again with a sequel or as a stand alone. Who knows where the Sega Saturn collectors will stand in ten years anyway?

RPGs and SHMUPs may usually be financial gainers, but betting that a game will only rise in value isn't incredibly attentive. Just ask the guy I bought my sealed copy of Ikaruga from... he didn't make money on it.

Even though I voted sell, I'm a bit on the fence. TBH I would just keep PDS and save up some cash for a month or two, live on Ramen do whatever. J 360 can be had cheaply(I got mine for $200 new) if you look around, as well if the older models(non hdmi) don't bother you. As good as the shmups are for the 360 and I think you'll obviously get more play out of them, if saving isn't an option, though it really should be sell it off.

Thanx guys. I really do appreciate your opinion. First off, I don't collect to make a profit for any of my games. I buy to play first and collect second. However, lately I have questioned why I collect games in the first place. Games are meant to be played, always have, always will be for me. It's just that I have this urge to collect now and play less than I used to, especially with those rare games.

I love RPG's but I don't think I will ever finish playing all the games I have collected for PS1, let alone other systems. Now, there are so many good games coming out for the current generation and I don't even have the time to play them all. I always say that I collect these games so I can play later on when I have time or play with my children and share the experience with them. But who am I kidding. They will probably play the games on their new PS4 or the next XBOX.

I have already cleared 2/3 of my collection a couple of years back for college fund and whither it down to only the games that I really really want. Now I am thinking of clearing it out again and keeping the most essential and not necessarily the most expensive games. Maybe I should sell suikoden II and PDS and that should be enough to quench my shmups thirst.

I am leaning toward selling right now but I am going to let it mulls for about a week and then I'll decide. There's no rush, just my urge to play Raiden Fighters that's all. The reason I am not buying right now is because I don't want to get stuck with an old XBOX 360 that is prone to RROD. Hopefully by Christmas the newer XBOX 360 version will be readily available in JPN. My own Christmas gift to myself.

You brought up a good point. yesterday at my local Blockbuster store, they're still trying to get rid of their 20GB models for $260. Good price, but people would rather spend $40 more to get a new model with HDMI, bigger hard drive.

That being said, I truly believe that we're going to start seeing a bunch of "old model" Japanese 360s coming our way cheap. I'm sure everyone in Japan is going for the newer models just like we would here.

As far as panzer dragoon, my heart says keep it. But everyone knows that an arrival on Xbox live (if it hasn't happened yet) would decrease the value.

I only played like 30 mins it is nothing compared to the other games I kept in the series. Panzer Dragoon , Zwei and Orta still get regular play. Saga is just overhyped rare junk.

I am enjoying Raiden Fighters Aces, Raiden 4, Shikigami No Shiro 3 and soon Otomedius Gorgeous.

Just one watcher but i posted it last night. Don't know if saying that will make people wait till the very last minute to bid. I just hope PDZ will fetch at least $150 because that was how much I paid for it 2 years ago.

Anyway, tell me what you think. It's not scientific but I tend to sell things on Thursday night now because it seems to get better results than any other nights of the week. It seems logical because Friday is the end of the work and school week and people just want to go out and relax. Saturday is party night for most people, esp. college students. Sunday is church day and people are getting ready to go back to work on Monday. Monday is the first work day of the week so people feels stressed out. Tuesday and Wednesday is the forgotten day, the unwanted child of the whole family so to speak. Thursday, a day where many college students also party, but also the best day between the beginning and the end of the week because they have to stay home and study for exams on Friday. Also, I tend to list at night because in the day time people are at work or at school and sometimes forget to bid. I do this on many occasion and miss out on some cheap bids. Specifically, after 10 pm because people have shows to watch on TV or are busy with other things. Anyway, just thought I share if anyone is a seller and interested.

BTW, if you buy things off ebay, it is best to buy things during the off hours and off days of the week. I get many great deals at those day and time. Good luck.

Very similar from what I do - sell from about 5:00pm - 9:00 Pacific Standard time, and only on Sunday - Thursday. And yes, I try to buy early in the morning, or extremely late at night... things pass with very little last minute bids that way. During the day, some people may be sitting on something at work, but almost no one is watching at 3:00am.

you can always buy PDS again later if you want. But if your not playing it now and there is something you will play. Go for it.
