Post by RCBH928 »

Does any one of you have a modded wii? and whattype of modding

do you run homebrew on it or is it installed chip to run backups?
and how are you dealing with connecting online, for instance say you want to buy something of VC?

any advice or tips?

I use the Homebrew channel on my Wii, which basically makes the hack transparent to Nintendo. I haven't had any problems with the shopping channel or going online. Installing the channel was really easy as well, using the Twilight Hack.

the twilight hack and softmod lets your run emulators on wii?
that means snes, genesis, and other emulators of the net, you can download the ROM to them and play them? Will it be like playing similar games of VC or is there a disadvantage?

The modchip, is it for playing backups? Does it have problem with online?

I run the Homebrew Channel through the Twilight Princess softmod. Zero problems with the exception of two instances of the console locking up while in the NES emulator, both times in the menu.
