Good to see something finally getting done around here with the polls. There should also be one for Metal Gear/Monster World. I don't think they should each get their own month.

This & this. It looks like horror month is leading, and if DE gets bumped off because of the nomination of a horror FPS with fewer votes, that would defeat the purpose of voting. It should have been secured a place on the calendar already, with other horror games having to be picked instead.

if we do horror, we may do Blood. We wouldn't need a second FPS in the calendar.

You could move Oddworld to the horror month like I suggested
Oddworld 10
Lost Vikings 8
Deus Ex 7
Blood 5
(pg37)
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Or maybe people are voting for games they like... not games we may have missed and should play.

I always thought TR was about hidden gems or games that are deemed "must plays for someone who considers themselves a retro gamer."

These numbers are meaningless. This was never a voting thread. "Nominations and Discussions". When only a small percentage of a group is casting votes ... even though they've not been directed to do so - then there is no real merit to these numbers. The conversation (40+ pages worth) has helped to shape out a calendar, but these incessant tallies are just not relevant at this point. It's like voting for an election in which no one told you to vote, and then on top of that, some people voted 30 times and some people voted twice. Let's move on...pls

Would I have not submitted it if that's how I didn't feel about it? I got into that game many years after it was released, and it was clear I had the backing for it here. But since the numbers are officially meaningless now, there's really nothing more I can do to get it on this year, unless through some miracle.
