I love robots! As my avatar implies, I have a little collection of wind-up tin robots as well as some plastic figures of the robot from the silent film Metropolis and anime like Gunbuster, Escaflowne, and VOTOMS. ROBOTS MAKE EVERYTHING AWESOME.

I really want to learn how to program real robots. My current knowledge is PRETTY LIMITED. I know the most BASIC elements of electrical engineering (I can solder and make circuits with blinking LEDs?) and I'm aware that LISP is a language that used to be a big deal for AI... other than that I DUNNO.
If I ever become rich, I'm totally going to buy some actual robots. By which I mean a Roomba and an AIBO?

I recently built a wisecracking robot, and with any luck will be building two more this year. The Wisecracker is my fullsize Tom Servo, who is currently on my mantle with my B9, and eventually my R2D2 cooler will be repaired. As you can tell, I am a pretty big fan of old robots that are not fully humanoid.

I've wanted to be a cyborg since I was a child, and now I'm an adult who wants to be a cyborg and have a robot for a best friend. Dreams: upgraded.
