Re: Racketman Adventures Episode 5: How to Game (handheld)
Aha, lol, great question kid. You betcha, i've got quite a few tips. This happens to my followers frequently. There are any number of troubleshooting tips. As it happens, I had a harem of cameramaams following me around the last time I got a "HELP" call - here's the how-to.
Ok, so the call comes in, "RACKETMAN, my game won't load!11!!"
As you can see, the power is on, but this game won't load:
Game out of the case, let's try again:
Let's check the pins:
Must be the contacts themselves. Time to clean 'em up:
Nope, that didn't do it. Next step windex? NOOOOO! As you likely know, windex is filled with nasty chemicals that will speed up corrosion. AVOID and do what I do. If I have a problem...
Ok. That didn't work. You really only have one option left at this point:
Ok, so what else can go wrong? How about those stupid purple stickers on your game cases?:
First extract the right amount of Isopropyl Alcohol - don't overdo it!
Well, this is a nasty bugger. Gonna have to bring out the big guns:
NEVER use matches around a gas can. Once properly soaked in gasoline:
Some of you dips are going to take it too far:
It's ok, it's ok...there's something to live for. The cover project . com, son!
Racketman...out!
Ok, so the call comes in, "RACKETMAN, my game won't load!11!!"

Wow! All this time I though my copy of Rhythm Heaven Fever was defective, and the solution was as simple as removing the disc from this "case." Thanks Racketman!Always check the game is out of the case.

lol lmao yeah man. This is a common one. You seem like a smart guy, so u might already know this. You also have to remove the outer wrap on new games. Also, many cartridge games won't play on disc systems.BoringSupreez wrote:Wow! Re: Racketman Adventures Episode 6: How to fix games
Dear Racketman,
Boy do I ever want to buy a factory sealed game, but with all the non-trustworthy up to no good-doers online I don't know how to be sure the game is in fact factory sealed or a fake.
I've tried smelling the game to see if it smells like a factory, but that hasn't helped. Any advice?
Thanks,
Luke
