A construction worker requires little to no education but has a difficult job as well. But when the qualifications are more easily obtained, pay will reflect that.

And I thought I was bad at analogies.

Smile: Woo-Hoo! I only have to host the after party tonight. We've agreed to all meet up at a local bar to watch the game, and then we'll watch (and probably sleep to) ALIEN in my home theater.

How was that a bad analogy?

He was talking about how difficult a job was. I never said anything about the difficulty of the job in my points. And then showed how there are other difficult jobs that jobs that don't pay well.

:x Let's see... I woke up late, had a herd of deer cross the road this morning and make me late, I accidentally knocked a State FFA Officer in the mouth, I busted the school copier, I had to fix a flat tire out in the school parking lot, and I have a piece of metal stuck in my finger. I don't know what I did wrong, but I sure as hell ain't doing it again.

Comparing a construction worker to an educator is a bad analogy. Not sure else how to spell it out for ya.

Smile: Splendid night so far.

Oh you mean except for the part where they are both difficult jobs in their own right with relatively lower compensation, which was the point I was making? Gotcha.
