Re: Random Thoughts Thread
At first, I was anti-streaming. Now, though, I'm all for it. The reason being, is that it has become cheap and easy to collect DVDs now. I have to get a larger shelf because of how many DVDs I'm practically stealing from Goodwill lately.

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I agree with this. The pawn shops in Charlotte sell DVD movies for $1 each now. I try to buy more recent "tent pole" movies (such as The Avengers, Skyfall, The Hobbit, etc.) on Blu-Ray, but I have no problem with DVD for older films. The only problem is that, once I buy a movie on DVD or Blu Ray, it ends up sitting on my shelf because there are just too many good movies on Netflix and Hulu+...BurningDoom wrote:At first, I was anti-streaming. Yeah streaming is nice, but even the movies I stream I end up trying to buy a physical copy of if I enjoy it.
Maybe I'm just way too into physical media.

I have found the ultimate pair of slacks. They are made by Haggar. They never wrinkle, never fade, they have nice pockets, and they have a concealed elastic in the waist that gives them a little extra room after a big meal.
This isn't the kind of thing I usually post about, but I love these pants so much that I went and bought three more pairs in different colors after I found out they were on sale at Macy's for $30.
I'm not a spambot. I just like my new pants.

I swear to you, JT, I'm wearing that very same pair now. Mine were purchased at Kohl's though, lol. Yeah, I love 'em!J T wrote:I have found the ultimate pair of slacks. They are made by Haggar. Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I kinda want to make an album that is country, but uses vocals run through filters so they sound like they are from a robot or something. Not for the novelty, but simply because I can't sing. I'd also probably used samples or synthesized versions for the instruments, since I can't play anything.
Mostly its because I have a pretty hefty book of unused lyrics sitting around, and despite the fact I think of a good one every once in a while, I've really stopped writing because I have so many lyrics written but unused. There's got to be something good there.

You realize it's possible to learn how to sing, right?Forlorn Drifter wrote:... simply because I can't sing.
