seriously, give it a rest; they're only using the worst examples of a human being (in their naive minds, anyway) and putting the title of "hardcore gamer" to them... you could also put the title of "nerd" or "American," depending on whichever group of people whom you wish to condescend.

uhh...my brother camped out just to watch star wars episode 1 in the theatre....bet he has pissed. At least you didn't lose an extra 2 hours of your life after camping out, plus you still have a wii and your dignity.

Same here. There was 7 of us in a Meijer at the electronics section. We stole one of the TVs and played Smash Bros. Melee on it. It was good times.

There were probably thirty of us at the Wal-Mart I camped at. About ten of us had GBAs, so we just swapped games with each other when we got bored. I beat Astroboy that day. Also my mom brought several of us food, we commandeered some chairs from the store(Wal-Mart was very obliging), and a buddy brought a table. Good times.

Also, considering how many of those other points I don't meet, I just guess I'm not a hardcore gamer.
