Skyward Sword is up there with my absolute favourite games ever.
Twilight Princess is good, but amongst my least favourite zeldas, and I've played all of them (except the WW HD remake).
I'd say Skyward Sword, but either is good to be honest.
Skyward Sword just seems more polished (coming right at the end of the Wii's lifespan) and better suited to the console (actually being designed for Wii and not a Gamecube port).
Which Wii LoZ to Play First?

I agree. So play Twilight Princess first so you wont be super disappointed in it later.alienjesus wrote:Skyward Sword just seems more polished (coming right at the end of the Wii's lifespan) and better suited to the console (actually being designed for Wii and not a Gamecube port).
My big issue with TP is that the game has some really cool mechanics and items, but it suffers from not really needing the items outside of the dungeon you got them in, or for some random sidequest. Case in point you get this awesome top you get to ride on, but outside of the area you get it in there is no use for it. Oh and the mini bosses are awesome, but the actual boss fights are a let down.

I dont get the point of that though. The only difference would be is that you thought Mother 3 was better than Mother 1. How is it any different from playing two games back to back that are not from the same series? You're bound to always like one game more than the other.rbelmont000 wrote:I understand the "playing the bad games" first philosophy because it is hard to jump from, say Mother 3 to Earthbound Zero. And in some cases, like Pokemon (the originals are archaic but better overall experiences in my opinion) it makes sense.
I also think Mother 1 and Mother 3 isn't a good example. You're either going to like Mother 1 or you will not. It is not like it is a mystery that there are better written games than an 80s Japanese RPG, so I don't really get why Mother 3 would be little the experience. That's like saying playing FF7 after Mother 1 would belittle Mother 1 because it is more polished and modern, at that rate we might as well play every game that has ever come out in chronological order (or order of worst acclaim to highest
