What I do not get about the WWE is that its supposed to be PG and no adult material, yet the women all have to dress in seductive form like they did in the attitude era. How does that make sense? Why don't they dress decent like Debra used to in WCW?

As for the chair shots, thats exactly why I hate wrestling today. Its a joke... not sure how even people still watch that kind of thing

The men wrestle in what is equivalent to their underwear or a swimsuit, so why not the women? You can go to the beach and see just as much or more skin.

I think it has to do with more than skin showing. All the time I watched wrestling from the 80's to this day I can hardly remember a guy that is supposed to act "sexy" while almost all women tend to act seductive in the way they dress, walk, and talk.

Well, you just said the way they dressed, not the way they acted. Two different things. And to your other point,

One woman who wasn't even close to sexy, she was straight up scary; I want to see come back:

Looks like she could have seriously hurt the rest of those Barbies, and that would be entertaining as hell to watch.

All the heels :P Jacqueline, Ivory in the Right to Censor, Molly Holly later on in her career etc. You're right though about female wrestlers being mainly eye candy in the big US promotions. Whether male or female, the business doesn't promote the best talent to the top spots, but rather those who (are believed to) draw the most money&viewers.

If you want to see female wrestling, watch Japanese wrestling. Compare these two

to this

That Aja Kong is the perfect example of an unattractive female wrestler. But I guess women's wrestling is still more "sexist" the way looks are matter, as if you're a fat and/or an ugly female wrestler, that makes you a great heel&heat magnet automatically, where as whether you're handsome or ugly is not that important when it comes to male wrestlers. Edge or some other "pretty boy" wrestler can be a heel against some much more ugly man, but with females, it's clear that the audience want to see the good looking pretty/cute girl beating up the angry, hateful ugly one, and an ugly chick assaulting a good looking chick is a great heat magnet.

But it's not just Japan that has some decent female wrestling matches.

A huge fat guy vs a female wrestler in a TLC match (CZW/USA) It's kind of sloppy (2:13, the sunset flip powerbomb etc), but still above the diva stuff imo. I've seen some much more hard hitting male vs female matches though, both from JP and US.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box
