Hobie, i have a pair of safety goggles similar to that, but they are amber-tinted with wire-mesh side shields. very cool.

Sweet, I've seen a pair like that before, but as I recall the person selling them was charging too much vintage tax on them.

i think i like yours better, with the upper nose bridge. the end pieces on mine are just wire that kind of curl around your ears, which makes for a snug hold, albeit a bit uncomfortable.

I was staring at the picture for a bit wondering what the hell I was seeing until I read the post.

Mine are like that too. I just have a big head, so the ends are lost behind my ears and pull tight too. Notice how the arms are jammed against my temples as well. Before adding new sides:
