That's just people who dont have a 3DS XL trying to reassure themselves the original 3DS is good enough, but after playing a 3DS XL i cant see how you would ever go back.

As someone who previously owned both consoles, you're wrong. Is the XL screen nice? Yes indeed. Is there noticeable pixelation? Yep.

If I ever get another 3ds I'll be getting an original model or a 2ds. The image quality on the XL was a step-down and was noticeable during gameplay. I'll trade a larger display for better image quality any day.

Edit: upon further reflection my post comes across kind of snarky, which I apologize for, but the pixelation really bothered me.

I don't care about the pixelation, because everything else about the 3DS XL is superior.. Your hands feels like shit after holding the original beyond an hour.. If I'm going to rip on any recent console design, it would be the original 3DS..

Personally, I could never go back to using the original 3DS. The thing is too damn tiny, especially the screen. You need a magnifying glass to see it.

What I find interesting is you get 69.99 trade in on xl and 94.99 on reg 3ds. I am wondering if that is an error...
