Keep in touch with him, see if he ships it on the 14. If he hasn't, contact him and ask why. Make sure you emphasize that you just really want your item.

Also, in general I try to give a seller up to two weeks after an auction. Some people are just busy and can't always make it to the post office. Just give him some time.

Get a hitmam on him, you can pry your item out of his cold, dead hands.

^^^^^^ That's why I always ship quickly, I don't want anyone coming after me.

In serious though just stay in contact with him, like others have said he's probably busy and while I don't know why people can't just ship items out within a couple days that's the way people are.

As mentioned, just send some friendly follow-up correspondence. I had to do the same thing recently, as I had ordered a set of mesh drums heads for my Rock Band 2 kit, but I still hadn't received them. I sent a nice email to the company that produces them, and they were happy to give me a status update, and indicated that it should ship out by the end of the week.

Ugh. This happened to me about 2 months ago. With two different sellers. As several people have stated, try to contact the seller and see what is going on. In both cases I emailed the seller to see what the hold up was. In one case, the seller responded, but said he was tied up with a few things and unable to get to the post office for a few days. He kept making promises to ship the item but kept pushing the date back. After 3 weeks I filed a dispute on Ebay and PayPal. After this he promptly shipped the item, paying the extra costs for overnight shipping. The other case, the seller sent a message saying the item was shipped, but gave a bad tracking number. I waited a few days for the item to arrive, giving the benefit of the doubt of a typing error or something in the tracking number. After a week I contacted the seller and got no reply for a few days. After about two weeks total I filed a Paypal dispute, and after another few days of not hearing anything from the seller, I escalated the dispute to a claim, and after a brief investigation I won the claim. After that it still took about 2 weeks to actually get the money back in my bank account.
So anyway, try to send some correspondence and if you dont get a reply or he keeps ignoring you, file a dispute (hopefully you paid with paypal) If that doesnt get him moving, escalate to a claim and forward paypal your attempted correspondence and any other information they ask for quickly

It's still early, give him a few more days, and keep contact. If he doesnt ship on the 14th then give him 1 last shot and tell him that if you dont get your item shipped VERY quickly after the 14th, your going to file a complaint.

Condolences on the bad ebay luck, man. I'm in a bit of a funk lately also. My apartment's mailboxes were apparently broken into (the lock used by the mailman to open the box was unlocked and I received no mail for two days) and I think my copy of Chrono Trigger was stolen.

I've also got a dispute going on Paypal. The seller hasn't responded to any of my emails, so I'm hoping that I can get my money back. I don't really know how these things usually go, however, so I'm prepared to lose my 15 dollars if it should happen.

There are plenty of assholes out there. On the bright side, it's better to get jacked on ebay than have someone break a car window for its contents or threaten you at knife/gun-point.

Yeah, I agree with the above. Give the seller a little more time and then take things from there.
Btw pompeyparsons, thanks for the good service and fast shipping for that Blackthorne 32x game. :D
