Finally beat this thing at about level 140. Last boss took MANY tries to get down. He's much harder than the various levels. Now I'm just trying to finish off my equipment collection.

Need another Roguelike Metroidvania game?

It just got greenlight. You can buy the beta now, or get it when it hits steam.

Rogue Legacy is not a roguelike, neither is Risk of Rain. Roguelite or roguelike-like is the preferred term for games like that
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

I think I'll stick to roguelike platformer, since those other suggestions are too long and sound dumb.

When Rogue Legacy was announced it was hailed as a new style Rogue Like. It actually had one of the best one liners said about it "I dont Rogue Like it, I Rogue Love it!" But now everyone is giving it terms like those. I like Roguelite, but Roguelike-like is just silly. Granted I hate the term MOBA and call those DOTA likes so I am not much better.

first form was a joke, second form was tricky the first two goes but once you figured out his main attacks he was fairly easy. Far easier than the flame.

Almost totally done with the game, just a bit more OCD collecting to go.

In the middle of Game++, level over 500, manor completely maxed, all runes obtained and purchased. Just 4 of the last armor blueprints to find.

I didn't get quite that high before I quit. I think I'm on New Game +3 at this point, but I got tired of combing the halls for the remaining armor blueprints. I glutted myself too much and haven't had a desire to go back!

Haha yeah, I'm wearing a little thin after going bonkers on it too. But it is handy to play and still be able to talk to people on IM right now.
