Compiling a List of Zombie Video Games

I am working on a project where I am trying to generate a list of zombie-infused video games (where zombies play a prominent role). Unsurprisingly, Wikipedia and MobyGames have very healthy lists.

I am going to ignore unofficial mods for now and only focus on games with official DLC/expansions that include zombies.

Many of the Wario Land games have a Zombie transformation powerup.

..and there's the awesome projectile-blood-vomiting zombies you can become in Metal Slug 3.

The Doom games feature zombies as low-level enemies.

Xcom Enemy Unknown (it has zombies on it?!)

Yes! Quite prominently.

During invasion missions, you quite often have an enemy known as a Cryssalid (or as I liked to call them, motherfuckers). The Crysallids would attack not just your soldiers, but also civilians with a poison attack which would then turn your soldiers (and more often) civilians into zombies. They specifically call them "zombies" in the game. These missions were nightmares if you let the Cryssalids get to too many civilians because suddenly a rescue mission found you far outnumbered by swarm of zombies.

tl;dr: Yeah Enemy Unknown belongs on the list.

I don't know...Arthur kills a lot of zombies with his lance in the first levels of Ghosts 'n Goblins and Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts...

Also, I can confirm that Wario Land 2, Wario Land 3, and Waio Land 4 all feature Zombie Wario. Wario Land 3 also features zombie enemies, and as expected, Wario turns into Zombie Wario if they bite him!

Finally - and while we are on the subject of 8-bit zombies - I am fairly certain that zombies are present in every Castlevania game.

I think I'll differentiate Mummies from zombies for now. I also think that the game should feature zombies as the main enemy or draw...so Doom and Dracula might be out. Basically "do you consider this first and foremost a zombie-themed game?" would be a good question to ask.
