Be easy on the kid. In his eyes he's trying to "help" you or introduce you to new friends. Cute girls also attend service ;)

Smile: I'm outta here for tonight. Got a surprise call from a friend who is visiting my stomping grounds and is looking to "raise heck". So, a bit timid, but should still be fun.

He's a 48 year old man. I guarantee that's not what he's doing.
Older. Not wiser.

If I absolutely had to guess, the guy probably did something he personally feels bad about recently, so he feels like converting you would make up for it. I know I have a tendency to come off a lot more religious and tend to be a hell of a lot harsher on myself when I do something I view as sinful. Maybe he just goes the opposite way, and projects it onto others.

:D Rained most of the day, and it was nice and dark. Great weather.

 - I went to a school seminar about the SAT at the Sheraton and saw this pool sign. I couldn't stop laughing.

My brother who I live with tried that all the time. Though I've declined every time, he still tries. Can't wait to move out.

What are you doing living with a 48 year old man? That's very bizarre.

Smile: There are still hard working people who are willing to do some hard labor as early as 5:30am.

Ticked: Those people are at my next door neighbors removing a driveway with concrete saws and sledge hammers. I usually don't wake up until 6am, so I only lost a half hour of sleep, but I wonder what the other neighbors are thinking.

I would be incredibly upset. Unless they are miles from other people's homes, they should not be working outside with loud tools before 8:00 AM (at the very earliest).

What is upsetting to me is that the new driveway is creeping onto my property at a rapid pace.

My neighbor is a pal of mine, but if he gets too far onto my property I'll step in again (I already said "1 foot away from my fence is fine, but no more. And if this project affects my property value you'll have to deal with my wife".

I mean, the guy has a three car garage and is extending his driveway because he owns five cars. I also think the crew working on this has no clue what they are doing. They're chopping roots like mad, and if I lose a tree over this I will be livid. You wouldn't like Luke when he is Livid.

I'm going to simmer down and wait until the actual plot for the drive way is set; frustration gets you no where. But if this project makes my house look shitty...there will be major repercussions.

Don't let it creep on your property at all, and remind your neightbor that if any part of the structure on his property is actually on your property, he will never be able to sell his home.

(Also...you have an HOA, right? I don't like them particularly well, but it would probably be a HUGE help to you here.)
