Re: Nintendo 3DS
I feel like if I actually used my 3DS often "on the go," I'd opt for the original version but seeing as how I basically just play it sitting in front of the TV then the XL makes more sense for me.
Re: Nintendo 3DS
Yea, my play time is about 50/50 between home and on the go. Though lately I haven't been into my 3DS much at all. Pokemon Y is good, but I'm just not feeling it. Rune Factory 4 is pretty fun, also not feeling it.noiseredux wrote:I feel like if I actually used my 3DS often "on the go," I'd opt for the original version but seeing as how I basically just play it sitting in front of the TV then the XL makes more sense for me.
Etrian Odyssey Untold is pretty enjoyable though. Thinking about maybe playing Devil Survivor Overclocked for the 2nd time this year.
I keep forgetting to bring my Vita w/ me. Probably would have more fun just playing more Project DIVA f or some PSP RPGs.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Eh I can fit either in my pockets. But I rarely use it on the go and if I take it with me, I have a travel/storage case I use for it.

Noise, you got an XL? Didn't you just get an original 3ds? Had I known you were in the market I would've given you a deal on my XL I just sold (if you were interested that is).

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I got both of them using store credit, so I never actually spent any $. I got my 3DS a few months ago, and then my wife wanted one. At that point I was really into it, so I got myself an XL and gave her my 3DS.Opa Opa wrote:Noise, you got an XL? Didn't you just get an original 3ds? Re: Nintendo 3DS
I heard the pixels on 3DS XL are exaggerated/ugly. Still worth it for the bigger screen?

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I haven't really played on an original 3DS, but the graphics look really nice on my XL.Gooseberrysoda wrote:I heard the pixels on 3DS XL are exaggerated/ugly. Still worth it for the bigger screen?
Also what I've heard from people online is that the 3D is much more comfortable on the XL cause of the bigger screen.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
That's just people who dont have a 3DS XL trying to reassure themselves the original 3DS is good enough, but after playing a 3DS XL i cant see how you would ever go back.Gooseberrysoda wrote:I heard the pixels on 3DS XL are exaggerated/ugly. Still worth it for the bigger screen?
