Dreamcast is super cheap. You could probably get one for 20 bucks if you looked hard. I saw one at a thrift store with all hook ups and two controllers for 24.99. Good condition.

Controllers and VMUs are cheap. Like $4 bucks for a working used controller.

VMUs you can get for no more than 5 dollars.

S Video you can get like 9 dollars.

I think the SD cards you can get for 20-30 dollars.

Only expensive thing is a vga box/cable. Those are more expensive than buying two consoles. And that's if you get lucky.

PS2 library is really huge. Dreamcast cannot compare.

Good thing about Dreamcast is that it is really easy to burn a game on a 700mb CD R so you can try it out before you put down cash to buy the original for your collection.

You can find tons of games in the "under $10" range if that's what you're asking.

Ya, kind of. As you know I don't have expandable income such as most the other members here. #minumimwageblues

PS2 is the most popular console of all time where as Dreamcast died pretty quickly. So you can find PS2 games for really cheap a lot easier than Dreamcast games. No console really compares to the PS2 in that aspect. But many of the good Dreamcast games aren't nearly as expensive as Saturn's best games are, so in that sense it's affordable.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)

I picked up a complete working Dreamcast console with two pads, VMUs, Rumble packs and MSR for 99p. It was missing a video cable so being sold as "spare or repair". I had a cable already at home... ;)

Also, my DC gaming is coming on good. I picked up F355, Gigawing and Skies of Arcadia over the weekend. All titles I've been looking for and all in great condition.

I just don't believe the article. Has to be posted by a Dreamcast fanboy.

I believe that the Wii U is struggling. I just don't believe that companies are really considering porting games to the Dreamcast.
