Honestly, I didn't realize they were made in black. I don't recall seeing any home system light guns in black that were made in the 90's. They're usually some funny ass bright color (I'm sure us older guys remember the stories of some kid carrying a Sega Phaser who was killed by cops who thought it was a real gun). It's refreshing to see and very nice to have.

Japanese ones, as mentioned, were black (or they made ones that were at any rate). I lived on Yokota AFB back in 95-97 or so, and my brothers and I bought our second gun for the Saturn off base, which was black, unlike the fluorescent orange one that came with the U.S. Virtua Cop.
'course, then my youngest brother traded the Saturn and everything we had for it to EB or whatever when I was off at college (for less than $70 in credit... )
Not much today. I had a $25 GameStop gift card that I got for my birthday. I used it to pick up this
Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Luckily, the clerk was able to give me a case for the DS game. I'm going to get a copy of the case art and print it out. I need to just get another case for PW: Justice for All and pick up a copy of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney to have complete the main series. Too bad the new one won't be a physical release.
I also stopped at the Salvation Army and found this.
The Oregon Trail for and IBM/Tandy computer for $2. Has the manual and the original disks. It also still has the registration card, rebate checks from MECC, and a backup disk request card. It also had some old New England Patriots ticket stubs from 1999.
