Playing Contra Hard Corps as any character other than Fang, is not playing Contra Hard Corps. Unfortunately, this means the second player never truly gets to play.

Angry Birds. I wouldn't want to ruin any real game by playing it in 5 minute increments unless its grinding or something.

It's a tossup between Robotron 2084 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Robotron for obvious reasons and fights on UMK3 usually last only a few seconds.

5 minutes - Gradius NES
6 minutes - Gradius MAME since it has that annoying countdown thing at the beginning.

Otherwise Frogger MAME and Q*bert are good quick games.
