I had it plugged in and reached for something over it and my arm kinda rested on the metal part of the iron. Weirdly, I didn't even notice for several seconds, it was just kinda a "...wait a minute that's kinda hot" feeling.

I mreBikeage wrote: The mother thought another man was, but in seeking child support a paternity test proved otherwise. AP reportedly offered assistance to the woman instead of disputing her claim, and sadly only met the child after the assault while he was in critical condition. So that explains his seemingly emotional disconnection.
That makes his reaction to the ordeal make a lot more sense.

Smiles: Finished my bathroom remodel, finally. First time wiring in new baseboard heat and independent thermostat. Feels good to be done. I had to take 2 months off in the middle of the project w/hernia repair, so for a good 8 weeks, I didn't do much in there aside light cosmetic stuff.
Played rugby w/my kids today - one my employees is on the UMD club and my boys got hooked after we went and watched a game. So we got our 6yo a rugby ball and have been out in the yard playing. Went for a nice fall hike on our property after that - lots of bear scat back near the pond area, so we headed in early for fear of inadvertently getting between momma and cubs.
Had a puzzle game tournament in our upstairs family room (we never game up there) and my wife NEVER plays, and even she participated. A good 2.5 hours of competitive play, mostly Kono E Tako. I'm really getting an affinity for the Namco System 10 library. I have 5 of the PCB's in that library and haven't been let down yet. Great stuff.

I just remembered I was one of the five thousand to get into the dark souls 2 beta that is tonight! Now I need to rush across town to get to my house and hope that there's still time to play since only for 3 hours. Thankfully it's running on west coast time so I should be good.

I don't want this on here, deleted. Rather not remember what happened that night

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Work so far tonight has sucked. I'm the only one doing maintenance and running the scrubber (the other guy is on vacation right now, and the guy we usually have as a 'backup' is in the hospital). Two giant spills already, one being like 15 jars of queso dip all over the floor, another being about the same amount of wine.
It's an utter disaster any time any of us goes on vacation, calls in sick, etc. It's even worse when multiple of us are out. I honestly have no idea how this place would handle it if one of us were to quit.
They want me to come in tomorrow night too, and possibly Monday. I'm debating whether to do it in my mind. The overtime money would be nice and helpful...
