THANKYOU! THANKYOU! THANKYOU!hashiriya1 wrote:Not sure if this belongs here, but I went to Target for a grocery run and saw these $1.00 pre-order cards for Pac Man: Ghostly Adventures. They come with a figurine and since I have a soft spot for Pac Man and at only $1.00 a piece, I had to buy em all.

At the Target I visited in Arlington Heights, IL, the Pac-Man, Metal Pac, and Ice Pac variations were available. The special Pac-Man figures were more rare though, as there were four standard “Pac”s and and only one each of the metal and ice varieties. I purchased the Metal Pac variation, though I have no intention of buying the full game, and found there are six varieties total. There is also Pac’s Pal Spiral, a pink, pigtailed Pac girl named Cylindria, and a classic version of Pac-Man called Pac.
There’s another bonus to these Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures figures. Each one comes with a code that can be entered into the Android and iOS Pac-Man Dash game. If you do, you can play as that figure in the game. So I guess that’s another bonus.

Just a heads up, these figures are the same six that Bandai just released through Toys R Us among other retailers at $10 for a three pack. So, it's much cheaper to just buy all six for $1 each through the Target preorder.
As others noted, Target doesn't take down any info or limit purchases, so you can get the whole set very easily if you're so inclined.

This might be of interest especially since older Buzz Controllers are on the cheap.noiseredux wrote:Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for $2 each.

very cool. i've found a boxed Neverhood before, and i just picked up a jewel case version of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. old PC games are a ton of fun to delve into, it's almost overwhelming how much stuff there is to explore.CRTGAMER wrote:Congrats on getting into collecting older PC Games. Tons of treasures to find with most on the shelves before all the online authentication requirement. By best PC finds were Neverhood and Grim Fandango.noiseredux wrote:my wife needed a couple Halloween decorations, so we hit up this thrift store. I found a handful of cheap PC games - Counter Strike Source, Tomb Raider 2 (sealed), Backyard Basketball, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for $2 each.
