If it was then it may of been in the same quote.ZeroAX wrote:I hope not from the same personBitFaced wrote: "Games are rendered at improper resolutions and blown up in such as way that image quality is ruined.
And I've also heard the complaint that it's not fullscreen.

I wasn't being completely serious, either. I know you not a regular at GameSpot. Which makes your entire post quite ironic at this point.ZeroAX wrote:......seriously dude.....check the posts a few pages back. I was just making fun of people who DO get so mad about such trivial things. I thought my post was stupid enough not to be taken seriously :/. I honestly don't want to know what's going on on those gamespot forums if you really thought such a post could be seriousBurningDoom wrote: Are you sure you aren't a regular on GameSpot Legacy Platforms? Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
I have never seen a problem with the resolution, nor have I seen a visible stutter, and I played the everloving CRAP out of the Castlevania games on mine. I'm not the MOST picky with image quality, but I feel as though "a visible stutter every few seconds" is something I would certainly see.BitFaced wrote:Well it does have a few compatibility issues that can probably be scraped over, it's just that I read this on NEOGaf:
"Games are rendered at improper resolutions and blown up in such as way that image quality is ruined. Furthermore, the games do not synchronize properly with 60 Hz displays and suffer from a visible stutter every few seconds."
And I've also heard the complaint that it's not fullscreen.

Hmm, if that's the case then maybe I should get the GCN Component cables gor it after all (forced with Swiss).KalessinDB wrote:I have never seen a problem with the resolution, nor have I seen a visible stutter, and I played the everloving CRAP out of the Castlevania games on mine. Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Full disclosure: I have yet to upgrade from S-Video to Component (hell when I first ran this, it was on Composite); nor have I tried to force antyhing 16:9 with Swiss. So ymmv if you go that route.BitFaced wrote:Hmm, if that's the case then maybe I should get the GCN Component cables gor it after all (forced with Swiss).KalessinDB wrote:I have never seen a problem with the resolution, nor have I seen a visible stutter, and I played the everloving CRAP out of the Castlevania games on mine. So Component might be better than your experience, and I mean 480/576p forcing. Although I do wonder what forcing 16:9 on it would be like.KalessinDB wrote:Full disclosure: I have yet to upgrade from S-Video to Component (hell when I first ran this, it was on Composite); nor have I tried to force antyhing 16:9 with Swiss.
