If your schedule is what we're gonna be ending up going with, at least give us that.
I really don't like that game or the sequels. I love FPS, I have played each of them for several hours each, and the writing and mechanics are painfully bad. I do not and cannot understand their appeal, at all. I wouldn't be shocked if it got picked, but I think Blood would be a good alternative for us to vote on. I also think that we might stick FPS with something else since we've done a whole month for an FPS each of the last three years.

I wouldn't be opposed to derping around with an MMO for a month, but I don't care for WoW. I could kill some time with a Phantasy Star or Final Fantasy MMO though.

We've never played a FF game (another sin), so I could get behind that idea.

:?: It's one voice. Everyone should still continue to lobby and support what they want.

December: In the original post for TR, Nick mentioned a "prize for top discussion contributor". I think that this month's choice should be decided by somebody who a committee decided was the top contributor to TR discussion from January-November.
thoughts on these?

I hope that's what we'll continue to do. Too many good nominations and already there have been votes for games, AJ has done a good job keeping track of all that.

The sequels aren't that great, that's why I was focusing on the first game. It probably would have won last year, but you wanted Half-Life, and I let you have it with no issues. I truly think it's a defining game in the genre. I wouldn't want it shut out again. We've got a few votes behind it already too, including Noise.

I get that it is seen as a key game. People praise the newest sequel a lot too. I am all for including it in a vote, but I'd hate any game (including those I nominated) to just be adopted without a vote if there is some interest in other games in the genre.

Not that I know of, if so i'm fine with it.

PSO is free.

If we were gonna play a FF game, I'd opt for FF Tactics or a mainline game.
