I stumbled across PCECAST (PC Engine Emulator) and wanted to try it out on my Dreamcast.
The problem is the file is a 1ST_READ.BIN
It mentions putting files in /directory/ and such but I cannot seem to find a good reference of how this works with the BIN.
I searched google (found a bunch of dead links) and searched the forum here as well.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Ok so, i went and downloaded this:

It's a .CDI file ready to burn, just burn it and it plays, really simple.

Thanks! I saw that one, unfortunately it doesn't include any CD rom ISOs.
The emulator I found supports ISOs, just need to figure out how to burn/use the 1ST_READ.BIN.

as a heads up, don't get your hopes too high about PCE emulation on DC. Every game I tried ran horribly - either at a really slow framerate, or without sound, or would freeze up randomly.

I tried the shoe thing. Even asked the missus to try it out on her Stuart Weitzman Diamond Dream Stilettos. No dice, I'm afraid.Hazerd wrote:I think it's about the novelty of it, i personally try to run emulators on as many things as i can... now to try my shoeninjainspandex wrote:people are still using their Dreamcast for emulation? its 2013 your shoe can run emulators, go to good will and pick up a 6 year old computer for like $5

The best way to run PCECast is with the SD adapter. I have it on mine and everything seems to run fine with no slow/dropped frames and no crashing.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!
