Kill la Kill has potential so far, although I personally will pretty much buy into anything Hiroyuki Imaishi does animation for. The TV budget is somewhat visible in the animation, but despite that inconsistency it still looks pretty good. Something I like is that a lot of the scenes with limited animation try to incorporate it in an amusing fashion, such as giving characters intentionally goofy and awkward animations. The characters are all pretty over the top and hilarious. I'm a little eh on the heroine's sexualization, she's a pretty likable character so hopefully it doesn't define her disproportionately in coming episodes.

And the BlazBlue anime has begun... anyone going to follow this?

Episode 1 was okay. Pretty much what you would expect. Didn't disappoint or seem terrible like many were expecting. But it was more or less in line with a video game adaptation that doesn't exactly have an award winning story to begin with. If it can just maintain a fair level of quality and stick to the story, and include plenty of fight scenes, it should end up being at least enjoyable for fans.

For non-fans, well, I don't think I would suggest it at all.

Yea. Ep1 of BB was mediocre. But as a fan of the series I enjoyed it. And since Rachel is my favorite I am glad that she is a main character throughout the series. Even if she mainly just oversees everything.

Kill la Kill is alright. Not for me. Too much shouting. It gets annoying.

This season I'll be trying to keep up with Little Busters Refrain, Outbreak Company, BlazBlue, and Log Horizon (it's so bad it's enjoyable, for now). And perhaps Ace of Diamond. I may also watch Ippo s3 and go back and watch the rest if I like it enough.

There is also that P.A. Works series that I'll give another episode before deciding.

May also keep up with Beyond the Boundary. After two episodes I am undecided. Dislike the leads, but it could get better. Mirai was less annoying in episode 2.

Still have a good half dozen series to check out. They either haven't aired yet or I just haven't gotten to them.

Also a few episodes away from completing Shakugan no Shana s1. And Little Busters s1 as well.
My B/S/T thread! :)

How's that working for you? I've yet to start it, since the last time I watched a Key-based anime I cried my balls off (Clannad+After Story, fyi).

Is anyone still keeping up with Monogatari Second Season? Episode 15 came out today and it's pretty shocking.
