I've been playing Killzone: Mercenary. I really, really like it so far. Graphics are outstanding and the I feel like the gameplay is rock solid for an FPS, whereas I thought I would be saying that the "gameplay is rock solid for an FPS on a handheld." That's pretty huge I think.

I've been playing Bulletstorm, and just started No More Heroes and Rain. Bulletstorm is fun, but also disappointing. The story starts off really interesting and entertaining, but the more I play the game the less interesting it becomes. Grey acts too much like a dumb kid and Ishi is such a buzzkill. The skill shot system is cool, but feels like it's not fleshed out enough or it's just not incorporated into the game's design in a cohesive enough manner, but I seem to feel this way about every "stylish" shooter. Stranglehold and Wet left me feeling the same way too, like something was missing even though I appreciated what they were trying to do. I wish everything in Bulletstorm didn't revolve around that stupid leash. Couldn't they have given Grey one or two other useful abilities? I also dislike the lack of control you have over it. Why can't I swing people around in any direction? I had more fun with the leash in Wild 9. That was a totally different type of game, but it was spiritually in the same place as Bulletstorm. Use energy leash weapon to sadistically torture and kill your enemies.
Also, I find enemies trying to dodge my sniper shots extremely annoying. Whose bright idea was that? When you did bullet cam shots in Stranglehold, there was no avoiding it by the enemy, so you could gleefully hit them wherever you wanted with impunity for a guaranteed kill that would make you smile. Crotch shots were the best. There are some things Stranglehold did better than Bulletstorm. Both games are clearly playing in the same wheelhouse.
Rain and No More Heroes I've just started, so no thoughts on them yet.
I've also been replaying levels in Puppeteer for 100% completion and my god my love for this game keeps growing as I discover more and more cool little secrets in each level as I replay them. This game is packed with random little easter eggs and visual and audio gags.

I had some good times with those two games, but they do have flaws. So I can see how they would turn off some people. Of the two, I think Stanglehold was better than Wet, but it was flawed too
What did you hate the most about them? Have you played Bulletstorm?

Stranglehold I just played the demo and I thought the controls were terrible and even though a lot of crap was happening on the screen, it was boring.
WET didn't seem to live up to my expectations, I expected it to kind of be Faith from Buffy as the gal from Kill Bill. Again I felt like the controls and how the game presented information to the player really hampered playing it. Just not fun to me at all.
I owned Bulletstorm, but ended up getting rid of it before I tried it out, I may have bought it on PC, can't remember (my Steam library might be too big )

Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PS2) I'm in the second of four main tombs. Right now, I'm in the room with the spinning fire platforms and the pool of water covering the floor. This is my first time playing a Tomb Raider game, and I am absolutely loving it.
I'm going back and forth between Pokemon White 2,Diablo 3 on ps3,God of War HD Collection on ps3,Yakuza:Dead Souls on ps3,and Mass Effect on ps3.
Diablo 3 is somewhat difficult,at least the Belial boss is.He's been giving me problems.Halfway through God of War 2 HD.Not too difficult, just annoying sometimes with the puzzles.Dead Souls isn't bad if you like a shooter set in Japan and basically killing everything in sight.Mass Effect I just started playing for the first time and I'm enjoying it,but there's WAY too much talking.
