Slippery fucker, can jump higher/further, short time limit on levels, overall harder difficulty. I didn't think it would be much fun, but I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit.
Does Super Luigi U have a story?

It's a USB 2.0 port from what I've seen, so good HDDs (much less SSDs) will be bottlenecked anyway.

I've seen too many flash drives up and die to really trust them long term. Not that HDDs don't die too, but they're not always as sudden/total.

Why? Does Super Mario have?

Not really stories, but they tend to have some type of premise. Usually revolving around Bowser breaking through a house while Mario and Peach are baking cakes or drinking tea or something.

Woo, this guy came in the mail today. Never played the original, I hope it's as good as people say.

Won this not too long ago. I got it all set up yesterday and though I've been playing the hell out of it, I've barely scratched the surface. Here's a few first impressions.

Pro: The Wii U pad. I was expecting the hardware to be the normal toll to pay Nintendo for first party games. I thought it was a gimmick, but man, it's grown on me. I feel robbed from all the years that I haven't been able to pack my games with me around the house. It's much more lightweight, graphical, and useful than I imagined.

Con: Graphics. This machine pumps out visuals that are equal to or worse than mature 360 and PS3 software. I was expecting a slight step up, but no dice. This obvious lag in hardware will definitely make the library quite different than its next gen counterparts. I'm envisioning third party PS3/360 remake dumps that take advantage of the gamepad. Fallout 3 anyone?

Zombi U: Beastly. This is the hardware demo I was hoping for. This is the survival horror I miss from days gone by and the gamepad absolutely enhances the experience. It's fun to be scared.

Call of Duty Black Ops II: I've spent numerous hours on the 360 version and can say that this is identical. Being able to kill people online while sitting on the toilet is a nice touch though. The skill level of opponents seems to be lacking and the servers are fairly empty.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct: I read reviews on this and everyone seems to despise it. I came into it with extremely low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I liked it. So far it feels rushed, but still provides a solid FPS zombo murder simulator.

Windwaker HD: Freaking gorgeous. I'm glad I didn't finish this romp during the Gamecube days because of the slow sailing. Super excited to play this beefed up version without the TV.

I'm having a horrible time deciding if I should dig deeper into Windwaker/Zombi U or I should try out more of these delightful experiences. Whatever happens, wish this Wii U noober luck. :D

^ Quite a find there. I'm pretty sure I had that auction temporarily saved to my "watch" list. Considering it wasn't a BIN, you really made out.

Yeah, that's an incredible score. $425 shipped for... I don't even feel like added it all up. I know it's well over $425. The auction even includes his platinum status Club Nintendo account with 600 coins.

Has any one been to the eShop since the last update? There's a new splash screen while the eShop is loading. You know the puzzle houses from SMB? The spinning pictures, and you have to match up all three pieces? There's one of those when loading the eShop now. I haven't been able to get it right yet. Here's the thing, you can't take your time. Ready or not, the eShop will load. So you only have a few seconds to try. I wonder what happens if you get it right. Does any one know?
