Pre-order ftw. You euro folks are lucky. The PAL version appears to be a much nicer package.

Admittedly, I'm not usually one to perpetuate the cycle of over-priced SNES games, but seeing as how it was the last game on my list and most cart-only copies go for upwards of $150, I figured I could justify paying $130 (shipping included). It's in perfect condition, and after a cleaning with rubbing alcohol and q-tips, it's working nicely. Can't wait to start a new file and build the greatest farm the world's ever seen.

Yes, yes it was. Believe me though, if there was any other way I could've gotten it for less, like at a store, yard sale, or flea market, I would've held out. But where I am, it's tough to rely on those kind of miracle deals, and since it was the last game I plan on buying for the SNES, I decided to drop the cash.

Found a Kinect for the 360 at Goodwill for $10. Brought it home and the mic works on Windows 7, but getting the camera to activate is something I will have to play with. Not a huge deal, they sell for $40ish on ebay. But it means I can play the only doublefine game I have not beaten yet, and I can play the second Steel Battalion (even if they are both crap). Also it supposedly makes for one damn fine mocap machine:

When I get down to brass tacks with my collection, I will probably have to do the same, and I completely understand why you did it...Fortunately, I still need plenty of cheap games, and if I pick up some good deals in the meantime, so much the better.

Hit Tri-State Pawn again today and noticed they had picked up a small collection of N64 games. Here is what I walked out with for a total of $25.68 after taxes.

Blood Rayne had a transparent red memory card in the case :).

Sonic and the Secret Rings is the Target edition with the bonus comic book dvd

N64 games were $0.50 each  . Except for a really worn out copy of ocarina of time which they marked up to $10. Thought about grabbing it but the labels both front and back were completely destroyed and I already own a much better off copy :P.

I won this auction a little while back. I got it set up today, and needless to say... I'm overwhelmed with the sheer amount of stuff to play right now.

That is a ton of games. Nicely done! I've never seen those Wiimote Gamecube controller adapters before. How well do they work? I may gift some to my WiiU owning friends.

I just got my first arcade stick, a Hori PS3 Fighting Stick V3. $60 even.

Time for doujinshi!
