Almost done with this game. Overall I really like it, although I used to have an aversion to GTA so it's more fresh for me than it might be for a GTA vet (only one I played was GTAIV and I thought it was overdone and had horrible checkpoints).

It's an interesting game because there is pretty much zero originality here, but while everything in there has been done before, it's all well done and the game is really polished. I thought they missed a huge opportunity with the story, but I'm not at the end yet. So far it just seems like it almost completely forgets that you're a cop. Overall I think it's an above average game though.

Finished the game a couple nights ago. Pretty much still feel the same as above. A solid GTA clone that mimics the Batman fighting mechanics fairly well, but the story is a letdown. No spoilers, but I have no idea why they took it in the direction they did. Not a bad game. For more than $20 bucks I would've been a little disappointed though (got mine on PSN for free).

I started playing this one over the weekend and I'm hooked. I usually get bored of GTA style games and never finish them. However, I am about 75% done with the story and I've done over 50% of the other stuff. I am actually enjoying all of the side stuff and I think the game does most of it really well. I love the setting of Hong Kong and it definitely helps that the game excels graphically. The soundtrack/radio is excellent as well and nicely put together.

I'm looking forward to finishing this one up and I might even go for the 100% (got all of the health shrines, focusing on the lockboxes right now)

I am happy about that. I'm about half way through the game and trying to 100% it and loving every second of it. Can't wait to see what they do for a sequel.

I'm currently playing Sleeping Dogs on my 360 and am enjoying everything besides the autosave, which doesn't seem to ever save my progress. So after any big mission I go back to the apartment and sleep, which gets tedious.

I haven't checked my progress, but I would be surprised if I'm a quarter in.

Driving on the left side of the road threw me for a loop at the beginning.

Yeah, that's good news. I hope they find ways to make the combat more fun, while still keeping it simple. The intuitive nature of combat in Sleeping Dogs and the Batman games versus overly complex combat games like Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, etc. is one of the best things about them. It's nice to sit down and play something where you don't have to memorize a whole bunch of combos, special attacks, etc.

You really should, especially since you have the PC version. People rave about the graphics on the PC version. It's one of those games where the PC version's graphics really blow away the console version. I've played through the whole game on the 360, but the little bit of time I spent with the Steam version on just my mid range PC I could see the visual difference
