I'm all smiles today.
Smile: Finally had the time to revise Jinx's resume. It could still use a bit more of a polish, but it is certainly getting there. I for one think it looks a lot better, but I'll wait to see what he thinks.
Smile: Piano is getting tuned in about an hour. I can't wait.
Smile: MNF party tonight! Food, friends, and football.

Smile - So I just talked to Al Gore randomly for work. If all goes well I will get to meet him and I am going to have him sign my acoustic modem.
Ticked - Our survey database is not flowing correctly and it is really screwing with our numbers.

Smale: Had our quarterly rotation today where we move to different line to inspect refurbished Iphones. I'll have a co-worker next to me and I'll be inspecting Iphone 5's so change is always good.
Frown: Everyone on the new line is just starting to learn there jobs so I had to go back to my old one where I'm treated like crap and discriminated against for being white. That and management promised I'd be able to get time off to visit family for Christmas. I find out today that they're full and I'm kindof screwed unless I go ahead and get the ticket but then there's the risk of being fired. We'll see I guess.

Frown: Next door neighbor already has an empty case of Heineken and two friends over as early as 5:30 on a work night. This does not bode well for my sleep tonight.

Smile: Generally good day. Got lots of work done and got a refund from an overcharge on my tuition which is a plus.
Frown: Rejection.
Frankly, nothing hurts more than the "polite" rejection. Had I got a "No, sorry" I would probably be fine. Damn do I hate the whole "Oh I have friends coming from out of town" blah blah blah. It's insulting. If you think that any man can't detect the lack of enthusiasm you're only kidding yourself.
That sounds really bitter, even though I'm not. Seriously can't stand that though.
