Cannot believe you left out Ghostface in your post. By far my favorite. His Twelve Reasons To Die from this year is absolutely incredible. I find that he's put out the largest pile of truly interesting records from the whole crew. I constantly look forward to what 180 he might do and surprise me in a good way.

I honestly can't believe I forgot about Ghostface either. I blame it on the fact that I was keeping an eye on two toddlers and a 9 month old baby while trying to write that post, lol.

But, I don't think Ghost has released a bad record. Some are obviously better than others. My favorite's are Supreme Clientele, The Pretty Tony Album, and GF and Trife Da God Put It On The Line. All of them are classics. I know you are probably wondering why I didn't mention Ironman. While I do like some of the songs, for some strange reason, it's just not one of my favorites.

As far as Tech N9ne and Yelawolf; you really need to check them both out. They both offer such refreshing takes on modern hip hop. Check out the two Yelawolf mixtapes I mentioned. For Tech my favorites are his three latest: K.O.D., All 6's and all 7's, and Something Else. You should also check out some of the guys on Tech's label. Namely Krizz Kaliko, Stevie Stone, and Kutt Calhoun. Those are his star guys, some of his "B Squad" are Skatter Man and Snugg Brim and Ces Cru are great as well.

Lastly, when mentioning Outkast, I didn't mention their "Dungeon Family" artists. They aren't as active or numerous as the "Killah Beez", but one notable artist is Killer Mike. He consistently puts out awesome records. His latest R.A.P Music is phenomenal.

You are so my dude right now. Pretty Tony is my favorite!! And damn, you love Put It On The Line? That's legit. That one is so raw.

I know you are probably wondering why I didn't mention Ironman. While I do like some of the songs, for some strange reason, it's just not one of my favorites.

Ironman is solid as fuck. I love it. BUT, it sounds like a debut album. it doesn't showcase how weird he is. That would start with Supreme.

Take something like his worst album - Wizard of Poetry. Even that album I think is incredible because it's so unique. The fact he had the balls to make something like that. That's why I love Ghost. He is just on his own level.

Like a lot of you all I've been into Hip Hop since a very young age. My sister first got me into Beastie Boys when I was in 3rd or 4th grade when she brought "License to Ill" home. I've been hooked ever since.

Some of my favorite artists are:

Wu-Tang Clan. While they have certainly fallen off in recent years, they still put out quality work from time to time. Most recently, Raekwon released Only Built for Cuban Linx Pt. II which is amazing. I consider it a classic along with OBFCL Pt. 1. Masta Killah's Selling My Soul, Made in Brooklyn, and No Said Date are all great as well. Then there is the more famous members like Ol' Dirty Bastard, RZA, GZA, and Method Man. All of whom have released classic albums. Wu-Tang also has a large of side artists called "Killah Beez" the best of which is Killah Priest his most recent album The Psychic World Of Walter Reed is fantastic.

I'm sorry but that Masta Killa album he last released was HORRIBLE. He was half asleep through most of the record, and the beats were dire. The Psychic World album by Priest however, I thought was good if unnecessarily long. It doesn't touch Heavy Mental or Black August but it's his best since The Offering.

I agree that Physic World was long, probably a little too long. The Masta Killa album was off putting at first, but at the time it was the only CD I had in my car so I left it on repeat. By the time I changed the CD, I really started liking it.

Earl Sweatshirt is def my favorite out of the group though, and sadly I haven't had a chance to pick up Doris yet though I loved "Woah" and "Chum" big time.

Has anybody heard "Such As I" by Innate & EP? I'm seriously thinking it is the best rap record I've heard this year, at least one of anyway.
Also, does anybody rate Nipsey Hussle? I've downloaded and listened to his Crenshaw mixtape multiple times but struggle to find the big deal with him. Found a fair bit of the production quite Drake-ish too, although I do enjoy that sort of throwback Phil Collins "driving in the rain" style of beat. I was expecting something to "bang in the whip" rather than the sleepy "crash in a ditch" vibe.
