It's an industrial band Front Line Assembly but they did a collaboration with a hip hop artist and I can't tell who it is. The duo sounds really good together. It sounds like Public Enemy but I'm not sure.

Paris actually worked with PE going as far as writing an entire album that they recorded (Rebirth of a Nation).

Like a lot of you all I've been into Hip Hop since a very young age. My sister first got me into Beastie Boys when I was in 3rd or 4th grade when she brought "License to Ill" home. I've been hooked ever since.

Some of my favorite artists are:

Wu-Tang Clan. While they have certainly fallen off in recent years, they still put out quality work from time to time. Most recently, Raekwon released Only Built for Cuban Linx Pt. II which is amazing. I consider it a classic along with OBFCL Pt. 1. Masta Killah's Selling My Soul, Made in Brooklyn, and No Said Date are all great as well. Then there is the more famous members like Ol' Dirty Bastard, RZA, GZA, and Method Man. All of whom have released classic albums. Wu-Tang also has a large of side artists called "Killah Beez" the best of which is Killah Priest his most recent album The Psychic World Of Walter Reed is fantastic.

Yelawolf. Yela is starting to make a bigger name for himself. Especially after signing to Shady Records. His two latest solo mix tapes Trunk Muzik 0-60 and Trunk Muzik Pt. 2 are both absolutely must haves. His Shady Records premiere Radioactive was a bit of a letdown compared to how great his previous works are, but he acknowledges this and is taking a lot of care with his official follow up titled Love Story.

Tech N9ne. He offers a new brand of Hip Hop that no one outside of a few other people have been able to pull off. He is a mix of Horror, Gangster, and just his own original style. He is the best selling independent rapper of all time. His label "Strange Music" has some of the best and original artists in the industry.

Outkast. These guys really need no introduction. However, what I like about them are Andre 3000 and Big Boi's opposite styles. A3K has a very soulful style, while Big Boi is more traditional gangster. But, the two of them create a style and sound completely their own. A3K is largely considered one of the best emcees of all time. Here's hoping to a true reunion soon.

These are by no means my all time favorite artists, but they are who I really like right now. They are all pretty main stream, but I love them none the less.

I feel like the only one who didn't enjoy it so much. I liked it. But eh. I thought Wu-Massacre was better in all honesty, even if it was super-brief.

I haven't heard Selling. But No Said Date is amazing. I love that album. Brooklyn is solid for sure.

Cannot believe you left out Ghostface in your post. By far my favorite. His Twelve Reasons To Die from this year is absolutely incredible. I find that he's put out the largest pile of truly interesting records from the whole crew. I constantly look forward to what 180 he might do and surprise me in a good way.

Man, I've heard nothing but praise for this record. I haven't paid much attention to Priest, but I mean he did "BIBLE" on Liquid Swords. And he's had some cool group projects. I really should check that out.

I don't know a lot about this guy, but his verse on A$AP Rocky's "1Train," is damn good. Though probably overshined by Danny Brown, Kendrick and A$AP himself on there. But that's neither here nor there.

Another guy I've mostly overlooked. Though I've liked what I heard. He had a verse on Carter IV that was awesome.

I agree that it's really the combo that makes them so great. I've enjoyed each of their solo output, but yeah... I might be in trouble if I hold my breath for a reunion album.
