But I have read nearly every Stephen King book and have seen most of the movie adaptations. Some of the movies are good, some are awful.
Which adaptations are your favorites?
Pet Semetary, 1408, The Mist, Stand By Me, Misery, and The Shawshank Redemption are my faves. Obviously not all of those are horror films.

The absolute bottom of the barrel............. The Lawnmower Man.

Anyone planning on watching The Blair Witch Project? I hated it when I first saw it years ago, but I think I would have more interest in it now...

my wife has read pretty much every book, so in turn, I've seen nearly every movie with her.

I didn't care much for it when it came out, but over the years I've actually grown to enjoy it a lot.

I also like Book of Shadows, as long as you take it for what it is - a completely different movie. Plus, that redhead.

This just arrived:

Guess I'll be playing some Castlevanias today...

What is that noise?
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

This movie is...something?

I enjoyed it, but it was a very (deliberately) strange film with lots of fourth wall breaking, a live audience watching the action unfold, etc. Hard to explain

Still, the idea of a film based around a vengeful telekinetic tire is fantastic, and the director did a pretty nice job of creating many memorable scenes.

You could say the film treads new ground, that it brings a much needed bounce to the genre, that it merges tired conventions into a new formula, etc.
