Ok so this has nothing to do with Modding but I thought someone here might be able to help me with this since im not too good with PC hardware, but anyway here's my problem.
So two weeks ago my band took a mini-tour 4 day trip to the San Francisco Bay Area/Oakland/Richmond/Berkley, played a few shows, hung out etc etc.
But the Friday before we left accidentally left my PC on, it went into sleep mode for the weekend. Monday night when i got home i went to turn on my computer and the power light blinked quickly then nothing happened. It wont turn on. Every time i unplug the power cord and plug it back into the PC the LED on the back shows that its plugged in, but it goes out when i try to turn the computer on. Its not my outlet since i tried it on several different rooms in my house.
So i can only guess that i need a new power supply. Does anyone else think so?

power supply would be my best guess. you might have tripped something on the board. maybe try replacing your bios batters.

I ordered a power supply from new egg when i get it installed ill let you know if that was it

Is it an HP? My friend had the same problem last year, it turned out to be the battery, he had a friend with the same laptop, so they turned on the other one and swapped batteries, once it charged a bit he put it back on his own and it worked again.
