I dunno man, CRT seems like a guy who might have a pretty violent side to him.
Yeah, CRT meant he would actually tear the guy's face off. What he didn't mention is that afterward he would tear the rest of the guy's skin off and wear him around like a suit.
 From my Navy days sometimes phrases come out maybe a bit harsh. But yeah meant in context of really letting that idiot know especially since it was not a first horseplay incident of causing injury to Forlorn.

Sadly, our shop and class are horrible compared to the others around. I've seen the Ag Magnet school in San Antonio, nothing else around here compares.
I was lucky, even in Junior High (now called middle school) there was Wood and Machine Shop. Imagine spinning a lathe shaving metal in eighth grade! My High School years too, Wood, Metal, Welding, Drafting, Electrical and Auto Shop.

Drama was fun today. We had a sub and didn't do any work, so I just listened to Malice Mizer on my iPod the whole period.

I looked up the lyrics to one of my favorite songs a few days ago and found out it was about some guy strangling his girlfriend so she won't leave him. Because people didn't already think I was a psychopath.
Insert clever quote here.

Well, I guess I'm a profound disappointment to my father no no matter what I do. Not really sure how I feel about that.

:? Well, my old boss says I have a full-time position waiting for me if I move back home. Just didn't want it to resort to that.

:) Bug hunting today was a blast. We caught a lot of "Moffs" and "Hoppers".

:D Played video games with my daughter today. She picked out Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country. She was really good about taking turns.

:( Cara had to go to the ER. Things just keep getting better and better.

Hope she is ok! I passed along your resume to my friend :)

We're buying our daughter a sleeping bag for a youth retreat w/church. So, we're on amazon, and this is what pops up:

This provided a good 6-7 minutes of jokes. I get the idea...but that photo:
Who...are the ad wizards - who came up with that one

:D : So I finally finished cleaning the systems and games I picked up this week. The NES didn't come with a power adapter, so pulled out my box of extra cords and junk to see if I have any spare adapters in there that I can use and...what's that? I have excellent forethought and already bought a spare NES adapter? Hot damn!

:) : Found a nice, complete copy of the Arc the Lad collection today.

:? : Thanks to that and other goodies I think I spent too much today.

:) : It's still pretty though.

:) Cara is doing better, but not 100%. The tooth abscess made her face swell up really bad. She's going to the dentist tomorrow.

:? Switching to day-time has been extremely rough. Especially since my daughter decided she wants to swap schedules.

:D Got a few connections both here and back home through my dad. Waiting until my resume is all polished up before I make fist contact though. Already regret sending it off prematurely to the one place I was almost guaranteed to go. Haven't heard back from them, so I'll give 'em a call tomorrow. Hopefully that resume didn't do me in.

:( Being in this apartment feels like I'm sitting on a time-bomb. I can't really explain it, but I keep getting hit by waves of emotions that are triggered by small things (like my daughter helping me put up groceries).

So a few months ago while at my Aunt's 90th birthday party, she pointed out that she had records, but no player. Spent some time looking for a little suitcase all in one player for her since she doesn't have room for, nor needs a big player or any fancy components. The other month I picked up an old GE Wildcat player for cheap off of CL. It wasn't working and ended up being much dirtier than I initially thought. Much cleaning, a new power cord, and a new needle and it's working pretty good.

I think I'll just hold on until Christmas at this point, but I know she'll be super happy and will be able to play her stack of records now.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if I had a 90-year-old relative and a gift I wanted to give her I wouldn't wait to do it.
