It's what they did for Brawl - they released a digital version of the original. I could see this being a thing.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I would buy it because I don't own the original.

In my last post, the thing I forgot was that the U lacks the GCN ports. Of course, if they can remap buttons for SNES and N64 games to the Classic Controller, then they can remap buttons of GCN games to the Pro controller. What would be really cool is if they made a GCN-USB adapter for GCN VC releases, since the U has the two front USB ports, but I wont hold my breath on that one.

OK, so I said that ever since I updated to 4.0.0 every time I press the Home button I get a pop up that says "Software has finished installing." In the download manager, there was a NetFlix update that has been there. So some one finally clued me in. I clicked the NetFlix icon on the start menu to launch the app and got a pop up that said "update complete." And now I don't get that pop up any more when I press the Home button.

Since Nintendo doesn't sell Gamecube controllers anymore there's zero chance of that happening. A 3rd party option that tricks the Wii U into thinking it's a classic controler Pro maybe?

Close but it only simulates the Wii Classic Controller, not the Wii U's classic controller pro.

 . But we couldn't expect it to simulate the Wii U classic controller, since that's a seperate controller and this is a way to use the gamecube controller as an add on controller via the Wii Mote, which means it's either a Wii classic controller, or Wii classic controller pro.

....also I'm tired of typing controller xD

But that should be good enough for a VC title. Especially since they allow for remapping.

Seriously? I never noticed that. Or is that only for the Wii U VC?

But only if GCN VC games on the U support using the remote+cc.

edit: But even then, I hate having to plug shit into the remote. See: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... =2&t=43717
