Trading Websites

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Trading Websites

Post by BurningDoom »

I wanted to bring this up for 2 reasons:

1. Who here is an active member of trading websites?

If you want to share, which ones and what's your member name (for reference to other potential traders reading this thread)?

I'm on GameTZ, same name, BurningDoom (100% feedback!).

2. The real reason I wanted to start this was to see if I could get some directions to a good site for my needs.

I'm already a member of GameTZ. Which is a great place to trade games on. But I've nearly exhausted my stock of game tradeables that anyone's interested in.

However I have a TON of comics in great condition to trade. AND I'm looking more for hard rock/metal CDs at the moment than I am games.

I really want to find a site that's good for cross-trading these items. Someone who wants comics, and has CDs to trade; for this example.

GameTZ does have some of this stuff. But the non-gaming listings are VERY incomplete and often when they are listed are flat-out wrong on some of the details. And most of the people on that site really don't have a lot that's non-gaming related.

Any suggestions? Thanks. :)

google search yielded this result: http://www.swapacd.com/index.php

haven't tried it, but it looks neat. discogs is a pretty good place to swap stuff, also, but it's typically marketplace "buy/sell" transactions instead of trades.

Try "Comics, Used games, & Metal Swappers" _ www. cum-swappers. com, I think.

j/k of course ;)

Metal Archives actually has a trading forum that's completely separate from the buy/sell forum.

I actually use discogs for cataloging my collection. But I haven't been to the forums, just used it as a collection/wishlist tool. I guess I should check that out.

And thanks for the Metal Archives suggestion. That's probably the best place to find the kind of CDs I'm looking for.
