In some of the mods yes, but not in the 360 version. It is just people not knowing what they are talking about fearmongering.

I'm thinking that he was playing a mine-craft like game called CastleMiner Z as you use knives and guns to kill the zombies, but I have no idea about the hammer.

I heard about this one, speaking of....anybody seen the new south park episode? It had to do with Minecraft and murder. Don't mean to derail thread, it's just that the episode involved Minecraft and murdering people.

At first I thought the parents solely blamed the incident on the Minecraft Game. After watching the video, the News channel focused on only a couple of phrases from the Dad saying the games are out, which he is doing to ground his son. Silly to blame the game, parents and yes even that kid need to stand up and take personal responsibility. That News Station also was wrong to focus on just the game as being the culprit and no individual accountability as to what is right or wrong, a problem with today's society.
