Apparently Arby's is selling "gyros" now. The dearly departed on my father's (Greek side) are rolling over in their graves.

Went to an International Festival yesterday and stuffed my face. From the Poland booth I had Pierogies, Kielbasa, and stuffed cabbage. From the Argentinian booth, empanadas. Frp, the Mexican booth, more empanadas. From the Korean booth, kim chee ad rice. When I got home, I chewed a few Tums.

Going to be a bad boy tonight and make francheezies. Haven't had them in forever, and they go great with football.

I just had a food that's become a bit of an internet fad: Topkek. Topkek is a Turkish snack cake brand that's pretty dominant over here. Most flavors are some type of fruit, as opposed to the usual American chocolate or vanilla. The one I had was orange, grape, and pomegranate flavored (and not just flavored, it had bits of fruit in it). Seems like an odd combination, but it tasted good, and since there's no molasses used it didn't taste like a fruitcake. I washed it down with Fuse Lemon Ice Tea, which is made by Coca Cola but is far, far more popular here than in America.
