Battlefield 4 Beta Starts Today For BF3 Premium Owners

Just got the notice by email. It should already be on your Origin game library page if you have BF3 premium. Its a 5.5gb download.



My Origin is Fragems if anyone wants to meet up for a few rounds.

I only have the limited edition, so no beta for me. I'm not excited tbh, little to differentiate this one, but I read somewhere that it's less flimsy/tighter than BF3. When it's on sale with a bundle of maps I'll probably join the mayhem.

I played a bit of the ps3 beta today. It's alright. It's just more Battlefield. If you're into the BF series you'll probably like this. I'd rather play the new Call of Duty if I had to pick a single fps to occupy my time.

Little disappointed to see that Commander is disabled at the moment but other then that its pretty good. The level progression is really dragging though .

The current maps are also getting to be somewhat campy with a lot of high elevation camping spots available.

Funny you mention that. Me and about four other people were sniping on one roof. We were wiping the other team out.

Yeah elevation is everything this time around lol. A lot more accessible rooftops and with elevators you don't have to worry about being exposed during your climb up.

I've only really played domination but it's nice that the roof isn't only accessible by elevator so you can totally sneak up there and clear it out.

The beta has me considering picking it up near launch now after looking through the unlocks for the sniper, c4 and motion balls stuck out the most to me, hell just need a shotgun with slugs and it's bad company 2 all over again. I'm still going to hold judgment until I know if they aren't going to put on another stupid blue filter.

Ran into my first hacker today . Guy was sitting on a rooftop with an assault rifle picking everyone on my team off from across the river in conquest 1k plus yards away . Was using aim bot for sure and possibly a damage modifier . Kind of stupid to be doing this in beta but maybe he is testing for a hack software developer or has a really low IQ .
