I think it is more of the issue o.pwoiuac that when political debate occurs you get a bit impassioned and near fanatical. I an talking about your discussion or arguing techniques. Not the demeanor of the politicians. They are involved in political maneuvering.

The fact we can have a multiparty government that atleast tries to represent different political povs is what helps keeps balance, as frustrating as it may be for one side or the other at different times.
