 Can't complain about that.

Maybe I made myself sound like a sucker there. She was a genuinely interesting girl, even if she ended up treating me badly. I'm not waiting for someone perfect or anything like that. Just interesting and interested. That's hard to find.

:D : My favorite pawnshop in the area opens the newest shop in its chain today and its right along my route home :).

:D : Also found out that there is yet another flea market opening up in town this weekend. This one will be community based and provides free outdoor spaces for sellers :). Should allow for a good concentration of yard sales and give me another place to get rid of my spare games without having to worry about the usual $15-20 outdoor fee charged by the other local markets :). Kind of an odd time to open a flea market though seeing as winter is right around the corner but hopefully they do well :P.

:( Got sick yesterday and ended up sleeping from 9:30am to 11:00pm. Couldn't move without my stomach making crazy noises and I was burning up/freezing at the same time. I think I'm better though... just devoured a ton of food after not eating for nearly 32 hours.

:) Work has been interesting lately. More stress, but I don't quite feel that impending doom which makes it much more enjoyable.

:( Offering free hosting for a limited time, but nobody is accepting my offers. Really just doing this to get more practice at home.

:D Got a mini vacation at the end of the month. Not going anywhere for this vacation and just staying at home. This means video games.

Practise with a banana. That shouldn't happen.

Not to go into a diatribe, but you are right, idiot politicians and also, idiot supporters of idiot politicians. A lot of people are happy about this, because they think it will stop Obamacare... nope... won't stop it. It is already funded.

:D Finally got some of the kinks worked out with getting Sega Saturn backups booting with SSF without burning them. I just tried Daemon Tools Lite and if the game was in the ISO format w/ a cuesheet (and possibly MP3s), I just mounted the ISO directly.

:( Some issues with trying to mount Cotton Boomerang.

 Well, the government's (partially) shut down. I'm not getting into details and mentioning names and associating myself with any political party, and I expect everyone else to do the same for the sake of keeping politics out of this (since politics and religion always stirs things up), but I can honestly say that I am disappointed in the group who should realize it fucked up.

 No sleep for me last night. Between a Big Gulp-sized MtDew that I bought from the 7-Eleven across the street around 7:30-8p, worries over the then-potential shutdown of the US Federal Government and nervous about working in an unfamiliar area of Walt Disney World (in a park I've never even been to no less with probably the whole of a few minutes to figure out my area), I just couldn't. So at some point I decided to turn on the TV and split my time between random surfing and watching the news, which between its jargon understood by people who regularly watch the news (I don't) and the fact that the volume was turned down and the closed caption was displayed on a delay. Wish I knew that Wizards was playing late last night. And to help stave up sleep, around 6am I walked back to 7-Eleven and got another Big Gulp (again, MtDew) and between the sugar and carbonation in tandem with the very light breakfast (a handful of French Toast Bites which collectively made up a whole slice's worth) tore my stomach up. I was gonna walk out to the Dollar Tree (about an hour's walk) around 7 to pick up a few things (did I forget to mention that my brother gave me $8 to last me for a few days), namely a new razor to shave my beard (not part of the Disney look) and stock my lunchbox for the two 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch I'd be getting (I currently have $4, more than enough for some disposable razors and some lunchbox snacks). But I'm gonna have to get my mom to drive me there.
