Although I find the Amiga conversation fascinating, I'm just going to address the OP here.

After this, I'm stumped on the rest. What consoles am I missing (except for modern ones, which I'm still researching)? I'm just now looking into the Amiga32, are there 25 games worth playing on it? What about any others? In other words, what consoles not listed here have 25 games worth playing?
First off, I think you're wise to hold off buying consoles that have insufficient games. Twenty-five may seem arbitrary, but I think it's as good a number as any. I already have a few consoles that only collect dust. What's the point?

I would say you already have the best consoles ever made. This seems like strange advice to offer on a retro-gaming forum, but I suggest looking towards the "modern" consoles. We are coming to the end of a generation. Very shortly, PS3 and 360 will become super-cheap as the wii is now.

I'll tell you my current collecting strategy: I am buying up all the best wii games I can find; they're dirt cheap now. In the back of my mind I'm considering a PS3. It's almost time to buy one, but not quite. I predict that around January or February the secondhand market will be flooded with used PS3s. Then I'll get to cherry-pick the best PS3 games for pennies. The same strategy probably applies to 360 games if you prefer.

Come February, I'm sure that you will be able to find more than 25 games you are interested in on PS3 or 360. In the meantime, just concentrate on wii games.

I don't think there are really that many C128 specific games and I somehow doubt you'd make use of the CPM mode for programming. If you're looking to conserve space, a standard brown breadbox C64 will take less space than a C64C or C128.
