You need something better than a 2008 macbookViolent By Design wrote:You don't need a gaming PC to play most of the games on the humble bundle.RCBH928 wrote:its very hard to watch the Humble Bundle when you do not own a gaming PC
This machine goes crazy hot running anything in 3D. If its a GOG game then it gets hot because of the emulation (I run win7 on it) . The only game it didn't go nuts while it was running it, is Theme Hospital which has a DOS emulation on the mac os X .

A lot of the games in those bundles aren't 3D. It's worth a try.RCBH928 wrote:You need something better than a 2008 macbookViolent By Design wrote:You don't need a gaming PC to play most of the games on the humble bundle.RCBH928 wrote:its very hard to watch the Humble Bundle when you do not own a gaming PC![]()

I humble bundles are great for those of you who want to boost your Steam games. Their awesome and you don't need a gaming pc to run most of them.

This week is a bundle from Focus Home Interactive.
For the minimum price you can get Cities XL Platinum, Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition, Divinity II: Developers Cut, R.A.W. Realms of Ancient War, Game of Thrones, and Confrontation.
Pay over the average to get Wargame: European Escalation and The Testament of Sherlock Holmes.

I know I haven't been keeping this thread up to date like I meant to. It's easy to forget unfortunately, and almost as easy to forget to even check out the Humble Bundle website. However there are two frankly AMAZING deals going on this week that I would feel terribly guilty if I didn't share with you all.
Firstly, the Humble Weekly sale, a collection of Double Fine games-
Pay anything to get Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Stacking. Pay the average of $6 or more to get Brutal Legend as well. Or pay the fixed price of $16.74 to get all of that and Spacebase DF-9, a new game by Double Fine currently on early access.

Then, the one I'm really excited about, a Humble Sid Meier bundle-
Pay anything to get Civilization 3 Complete, Civilization 4 Complete, Ace Patrol, Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies, and Sid Meier's Railroads. Pay the average of $9.10 or more and get both Civilization 5, and Civilization 5: Gods and Kings. Or pay the fixed price of $15 or more to get all of that along with Civilization 5: Brave New World.

Re: Humble Weekly Sales
So, our good ol' friend PewDiePie is doing another Humble Weekly Sale, this time going to the Save The Children charity.
I encourage everyone to take a look, because there's actually some really good games on sale here.

At least $1 will get you Surgeon Simulator 2013, Guacamelee! Gold Edition, and an android title by the name of QWOP. Then there are some fixed amounts that you must pay more than to get extra games. $6.01 will get you Gary's Mod and an early access title called SpeedRunners. $10.01 will get you Probably Archery. And $15.01 will nab you all of the above as well as State of Decay.
