: I caught a 4-pound smallmouth bass today at the lower Susquehanna River above the Dock Street Dam!! The fight was so exhilarating; the bass leaped 3 times, but the hooks remained firmly embedded into the fish. It tied my last year's record, which was caught the day prior to Hurricane Sandy.

I start school tomorrow. I'm freaking out. I hate math, and math hates me. I have to take college algebra 1 & 2 and it's a scary thought.

I do have someone in the area that can help me if I get stuck, but I'm still freaking out. I hate asking for help but I will if I need to. I get really discouraged when I run into problems and just don't want to do it anymore though.

Ticked: One of my kitties stole my #00 screwdriver and now I can't find it. I'm trying to resuscitate my Wii by replacing the WiFi module and I need that for a few of the tiny screws.

Office hours. They are your friend in so many ways. I'm terrible at math and had to spend a few lunch hours with my TA to get it down but it worked in my favor since he was able to explain it to me in a way I understood (that wouldn't work with a whole class) and when it came time to dole out any extra credit or allow a re-test, my prof knew I was putting in the work.
